1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies. A cookie is a text file containing a string of characters that is sent to your device when you use our Services. For example, when you visit our website again, the cookie allows us to recognize your browser. Cookies may store user preferences and other information. Cookies set by us (in this case, Dot5) are called "first party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than by us are called "third party cookies." Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the Services (e.g., analytics). The parties that set these third party cookies can recognize your computer both when you visit us and also when it visits certain other websites.

This Cookie Policy refers to all these technologies collectively as “cookies.”

2. Why do we use cookies?

Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Services to operate, and we refer to these as "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track our users to enhance the experience on our Services. For example, our cookies may help to distinguish you from other users of our services for the purposes of helping you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, enabling functionality and helping us understand activity and patterns.

Third parties set cookies on our Services for analytics and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.

3. What types of cookies do we use?

In this section, we outline the specific types of cookies served through our Services and the purposes they serve.

These cookies include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary to ensure certain functionality through our Services.  We collect information about users’ cookie preferences, including whether consent has been given or withdrawn for certain categories of cookies. This information is used solely to record and apply users’ preferences and does not involve tracking browsing activity.

  • Analytics/Performance cookies: These are analytics cookies that help us understand how users interact with the Services and improve performance. We use PostHog to collect information such as pages visited, time spent when using our Services, session activity, feature interactions and frontend error data. After login, identifiers such as email address, user ID, user type and organization ID may be associated with analytics data. We also use Hotjar to analyze user behavior, including clicks, scroll activity and session recordings, although no personally identifiable information is intentionally transmitted to Hotjar. In addition, certain Squarespace analytics cookies are used to distinguish unique visitors and measure session timing and repeat visits to the website. We also collect and retain feedback data submitted through Appzi for up to two years in order to analyze product feedback trends over time. This information helps us improve and enhance the Services and user experience.

  • Functionality cookies: These cookies enhance the performance of our Services (e.g., they allow us to remember your preferences and settings). We use cookies to determine which language you'd prefer based on your browser settings. These cookies ensure the next time you visit us, you will be served content in your preferred language (where available). We use Crisp to provide live chat and customer support features. Crisp may store cookies to maintain chat sessions and remember information you provide during support interactions. Without these cookies, certain functionality may become unavailable.

For more information on the types of cookies we use, please see our cookies banner page. Depending on your location, the maximum expiration period for the cookies above is 2 years.

4.How can you control cookies?

Depending on where you access our Services from, you may be presented with a cookie banner or other tool to provide permissions before we or our service providers set non-essential cookies (such as analytics cookies). In this case, we only set these non-essential cookies with your consent. Where this option is available, you may revoke your consent at any time.
