Terms of Use
Version: 2.0
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Dot5™ is the trademark of Wicketech, LLC, an Idaho limited liability company (“Company”). Company may sometimes hereafter be referred to as “we”, “our”, or “us”. These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of this website and use of Dot5™’s services for businesses and individuals, along with any associated software applications and websites (all together, “Services”). These Terms form an agreement between you and Company, and they include our service terms and important provisions for resolving disputes. By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. Although it does not form part of these Terms, it is an important document that you should read.
Our Data Processing Agreement ("DPA"), available at dot5.io/dpa, governs the processing of personal data under the Services and is incorporated into these Terms. We may update the DPA from time to time in accordance with its amendment provisions; the version published at dot5.io/dpa, as amended with notice, applies to you. Where the parties have separately executed a signed DPA, that DPA governs; otherwise the published DPA applies. To the extent the DPA conflicts with these Terms regarding personal-data processing, the DPA prevails.
Registration and Access
Registration. You must provide accurate and complete information to register for an account to use our Services. You may not share your account credentials or make your account available to anyone else and are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you create an account or use the Services on behalf of another person or entity, you must have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf. The Services are not intended for use by children under 18 years of age.
Using our Services
What you can do. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may access and use our Services. In using our Services, you must comply with all applicable laws, and any other documentation, guidelines, or policies we make available to you.
What you cannot do. You may not use our Services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive activity. Not by means of limitation, you may not:
Use our Services in a way that infringes, misappropriates or violates anyone’s rights.
Modify, copy, lease, sell or distribute any of our Services.
Attempt to or assist anyone to reverse engineer, decompile or discover the source code or underlying components of our Services, including our models, algorithms, or systems (except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law).
Automatically or programmatically extract data or Output (defined below).
Represent that Output was human-generated when it was not.
Interfere with or disrupt our Services, including circumvent any rate limits or restrictions or bypass any protective measures or safety mitigations we put on our Services.
Use Output to develop models that compete with us.
Software. Our Services may allow you to download software, such as mobile applications, which may update automatically to ensure you’re using the latest version. Our software may include open source software that is governed by its own licenses that we’ve made available to you.
Corporate domains. If you create an account using an email address owned by an organization, that account will be added to the organization's business account with us, in which case we will provide notice to you so that you can help facilitate the transfer of your account (unless your organization has already provided notice to you that it may monitor and control your account). Once your account is transferred, the organization’s administrator will be able to control your account, including being able to access Content (defined below) and restrict or remove your access to the account.
Third party Services. Our services may include third party software, products, or services, (“Third Party Services”) and some parts of our Services may include output from those services (“Third Party Output”). Third Party Services and Third Party Output are subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Our Services use the Google Places API to provide address lookup functionality. Your use of this feature is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Feedback. We appreciate your feedback, and you agree that we may use it without restriction or compensation to you.
Content
Your content. You will provide input to the Services (“Input”) and receive output from the Services based on the Input (“Output”). Input and Output are collectively “Content.” You are responsible for Content, including ensuring that it does not violate any applicable law or these Terms. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to provide Input to our Services.
Data Import and Support Services. At Customer's request, Dot5 may provide onboarding, migration, implementation, support, troubleshooting, or data import services. Customer authorizes Dot5 and its authorized service providers to access and process Customer Content solely as necessary to perform such requested services and provide the Services.
Ownership of content. You retain all ownership rights in the Content.
Our use of content. We may use Content to provide, maintain, develop, and improve our Services, comply with applicable law, enforce our terms and policies, and keep our Services safe. We do not use your Content to train artificial intelligence models.
Accuracy. Artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving technology. We are constantly improving our Services for accuracy, reliability, safety, and your benefit. Given the probabilistic nature of artificial learning, use of our Services may, in some situations, result in Output that does not accurately reflect your Input.
When you use our Services you acknowledge and agree:
Output may not always be accurate. You should not rely on Output from our Services as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
You must evaluate Output for accuracy and appropriateness for your use case, including using human review as appropriate, before using or sharing Output from the Services.
You must not use any Output relating to a person for any purpose that could have a legal or material impact on that person.
Our Services may provide incomplete, incorrect, or offensive Output that does not represent our views.
Our IP rights
The Company owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Dot5™ brand and the Services.
Paid Accounts
Billing. You will provide complete and accurate billing information, including a valid payment method, your full legal name (or registered company name), your registered business address, and any tax-related details we require, such as a VAT or other applicable tax identification number. We will automatically charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle applicable to your subscription (for example, monthly) until you cancel. Optional add-on modules may be available; if you subscribe to one, it will be billed together with your subscription unless we tell you otherwise. If your payment cannot be completed or is otherwise not received when due, we may downgrade or terminate your account or suspend your access to our Services until payment is received.
Non-payment. If payment remains overdue for more than 90 days, we will notify you at the email address associated with your account. That notice will state that, unless you resume your subscription with a new payment or contact us at support@dot5.io to request an export of your data, your subscription will be terminated and your Content will be deleted 90 days from the date of the notice. If neither occurs within that 90-day period, your subscription will be treated as terminated for non-payment, and your account and Content will be handled in accordance with our data retention policies.
Taxes. You are responsible for all applicable taxes (such as sales tax, VAT, or GST) on your subscription, which we will charge in addition to the subscription price where required. The taxes that apply, and whether we collect them or you are required to self-account for them, depend on your location and tax status. Where a valid tax or VAT identification number is required for a particular tax treatment (for example, the reverse charge for certain business customers), you are responsible for providing it, and you remain responsible for any taxes arising from incorrect or missing information.
Taxes on Dot5’s income. If any jurisdiction requires you to pay an amount to a tax authority on account of tax imposed on our income arising from a payment under these Terms, you shall: (a) pay that amount to the relevant tax authority in accordance with applicable law, in addition to the subscription price you agreed to pay at signup; (b) ensure that we still receive the full subscription price agreed at signup, undiminished by any such tax; and (c) provide us, within 30 days of paying the tax authority, a copy of the receipt or other documentation issued by that authority evidencing the payment. This section does not apply to VAT, sales tax, GST, or similar consumption taxes, which are addressed in the Taxes section above.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@dot5.io or through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your then-current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the Services until that time. All payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
Changes. We may change our prices from time to time. If we increase our subscription prices, we will give you notice and any price increase will take effect on your next renewal.
Termination and Suspension
Term. These Terms apply for as long as you have an account or use the Services. Your subscription continues until it terminates, which may happen: (a) when you cancel, as described in the Cancellation section above, with termination taking effect at the end of your then-current billing period; (b) if your subscription lapses because a required payment is not completed and remains unpaid after any notice or grace period we provide; or (c) when we suspend or terminate your access under these Terms. On termination, your right to access and use the Services will end, and we may delete your account and Content in accordance with applicable law and our data retention practices.
Termination. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services or delete your account if we determine:
You breached these Terms.
We must do so to comply with the law.
Your use of our Services could cause risk or harm to Dot5™, the Company, our other users, or anyone else.
Appeals. If you believe we have suspended or terminated your account in error, you can file an appeal with us by contacting us at support@dot5.io.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE OR ERROR FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE SECURE OR NOT LOST OR ALTERED.
YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE THAT ANY USE OF OUTPUTS FROM OUR SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND YOU WILL NOT RELY ON OUTPUT AS A SOLE SOURCE OF TRUTH OR FACTUAL INFORMATION, OR AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
Limitation of Liability
NEITHER WE NOR ANY OF OUR LICENSORS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, OR DATA OR OTHER LOSSES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE LIABILITY AROSE OR $100. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
OUR SUPPLIERS, LICENSORS, AND DISTRIBUTORS ARE INTENDED THIRD PARTY BENEFICIARIES OF THIS SECTION.
Indemnity
If you are a business or organization, to the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless us, our affiliates, and our personnel, from and against any costs, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) from third party claims arising out of or relating to your use of the Services and Content or any violation of these Terms.
YOU AND COMPANY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER PROVISIONS:
Dispute resolution. We would like to understand and try to address your concerns prior to formal legal action. Before either of us files a claim against the other, we both agree to try to resolve the dispute informally. You agree to do so by sending us notice to info@dot5.io. We will do so by sending you notice to the email address associated with your account. If we are unable to resolve a dispute within 60 days, either of us has the right to pursue claims as set out below. Any statute of limitations will be tolled during this informal resolution process. Any dispute not resolved through this informal process shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (if you are an individual using the Services for personal or household purposes) or its Commercial Arbitration Rules (if you use the Services as, or on behalf of, a business or organization), in each case as modified by these Terms. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator, seated in Teton County, Idaho, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. If you are an individual, hearings will be conducted by videoconference or telephone unless you request an in-person hearing, which will take place in the county where you reside or another mutually agreed location. Each party will bear its own costs and fees except as the AAA rules or applicable law require otherwise.
Small claims. Either you or Company may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead of arbitration, so long as the claim remains in that court and proceeds only on an individual (non-class, non-representative) basis.
Arbitration opt-out. You may opt out of this agreement to arbitrate by emailing info@dot5.io within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, stating your name, the email address associated with your account, and that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other provision of these Terms, including the class action and jury trial waivers below.
Mass filings. If 25 or more demands for arbitration raising similar claims are filed against either party by or with the assistance of the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA’s Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules will apply, the demands will be administered in staged batches under those rules, and any applicable statute of limitations will be tolled for demands awaiting their batch.
Class Action and Jury Trial Waivers. You and Company agree that disputes must be brought on an individual basis as set out above and may not be brought as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. Class actions, and representative actions are prohibited. Only individual relief is available. The parties agree to sever and litigate in court any request for public injunctive relief for the underlying claim and all other claims. You and Company knowingly and irrevocably waive any right to trial by jury in any action, proceeding, or counterclaim.
General Terms
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms and any attempt to do so will be void. We may assign our rights or obligations under these Terms to any affiliate, subsidiary, or successor in interest of any business associated with our Services.
Changes to these Terms or our Services. We are continuously working to develop and improve our Services. We may update these Terms or our Services accordingly from time to time due to, but not by means of limitation:
Changes to the law or regulatory requirements.
Security or safety reasons.
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Changes we make in the usual course of developing our Services.
To adapt to new technologies.
All changes will be effective as soon as we post them to our website
Delay in enforcing these Terms. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. If any portion of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and it will not affect the enforceability of any other terms.
Trade controls. You must comply with all applicable trade laws, including sanctions and export control laws. Our Services may not be used in or for the benefit of, or exported or re-exported to (a) any U.S. embargoed country or territory or (b) any individual or entity with whom dealings are prohibited or restricted under applicable trade laws. Our Services may not be used for any end use prohibited by applicable trade laws, and your Input may not include material or information that requires a government license for release or export.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Data Processing Agreement or any other data processing agreement you have signed with us, represent the entire agreement between you and Company regarding the Services and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements between you and us.
Governing law. Idaho law will govern these Terms and your use of the Services.
